  • Hospice Suicide Prevention and MAID (Medical Aid in Dying) Colorado Experiences

  • Care after the Call: Short term protocols and longer-term care plans after activating the Suicide Hotline

Of particular note, one of the breakout sessions will focus on Suicide Prevention at End of Life. VA psychologist Dr. Laura Eaton will join a guest speaker from Denver Hospice, to explore suicide assessment at the end of life and the recent Colorado experience with MAID (Medical Aid in Dying). Other sessions target other aspects of suicide prevention including clergy competencies, postvention and care planning.
