HPCAR Board of Directors Call for Nominations is Now Open!

HPCAR’s acting Secretary, Kraig Langheinrich, is pleased to announce that nominations are open for new board members to fill 11 vacant Directors seats for two to three year, staggered terms starting in January 2019. Per HPCAR’s Bylaws, the board of directors may be comprised of 12 - 20 individuals.

The following officer positions will also be available and will be elected/appointed from the sitting Board of Directors at the first Board of Directors meeting of 2019: President-elect; Secretary; Treasurer.

If you are a voting member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of the Rockies, we strongly encourage you to submit, in writing, via this online nominations form at least one and up to eleven nominations, including yourself, for the open Board of Director seats. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, April 27.

Service on the HPCAR Board of Directors is a chance to work with industry leaders to help drive the decisions and strategic goals of our association and shape the future of hospice, palliative care and patient access. It’s also a chance to grow personally and professionally, to develop skills, gain unique leadership experience and make connections with key industry professionals. Without volunteers, we would be unable to effectively run the organization.

  • Develop valuable skills in non-profit governance, program planning and strategic planning

  • Expand your network of professional contacts

  • Gain recognition from your employer, community, or peers
